BAISAKHI

Festivals bring joy and happiness!

Students of MTMPS celebrated Baisakhi with
fervour and enthusiasm. The school premises wore afestive look and was decorated with cut-outs of crops,farmers, fulkaris and balloons. Dressed in typical folk
attire, students danced to the tunes of bhangra and learnt about the cultural heritage of Punjab.

RED DAY

'Red Day' celebration is a wonderful learning activity which helped children to understand the concept of Primary Colours. Red colour also signifies Love and Compassion. To mark this day very special, students and the teachers were dressed in red clothes. Classes were decorated with red props.

The RED DAY in MTMPS🏫 was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours  by reinforcing cognitive skills.

BIS WORKSHOP

BIS workshop was organised in Mother Teresa Modern Public . Mathana Chownki.. The work shop was organised by Dr.Deepak kumar ,Dr. Harsh Shankar and Standard Promotion Officer Anushka Srivastava .The organizers first told the students the difference between BIS and ISI.They also told the standard of day today used things such as Switch , Pressure Cooker and certain other things also. Purity of certain other metals such as Gold is judged by Hallmarks- also explained by them. Our school Principal Mrs.Pooja Saxena also told the students before buying anything from market first check ISI or BIS mark,only then purchase. A competition was also conducted by organizers of the workshop in which Nupur got First Position, Jaspreet Second  and Shruti ,Jiya and Lavisha got third position.

STORY TELLING

“Every story has a meaning, and that meaning depends upon how the story is taught.”

To broaden the ideas and the perspective of our tiny-tots, a story telling activity was organised for the students of Pre-Primary section at MTMPS.The story-telling session was thoroughly enjoyed by the students as they were looking upon their teachers being-The Lion and The Mouse🦁🐭.Not just this, the students were actively involved in narrating the story with their teachers. Their lit up faces and mesmerized looks spoke volumes about the interest it had generated in the students. Here’s a sneak peek of the vibe of the story-telling session.

HEALTHY SNACKS

We are constantly focused on promoting healthy eating among our students and are always looking for new ways to do so. As a result, on May 20 in continuation of previous activities related to health and hygiene, a "Healthy Snack Day"for primary classes was held, in which children brought healthy snacks in their tiffins and shared them with their peers.

POSTER MAKING COMP

To bring out the creative expression of the students and also to gauge their awareness quotient, the Poster Making Competition was for grades 6-7 at MTMPS.

Students demonstrated their artistic abilities by creating a variety of posters on the subject. The competition had a 2-hour time limit.

Our incredible children deserve a round of congratulations for their enthusiastic creativity.

PARENT ORIENTATION

Parent Orientation Program was held on 09-July-2022. The Principal in her welcome address talked about the importance of discipline, values and how  there should be an ongoing partnership  between parents and school to bring about holistic development of the students. This was followed by the introduction of ERP.

The orientation program ended with an interactive session with the parents.

PAPER BAG MAKING

World Paper Bag Day is celebrated across the globe to reaffirm the much-needed daily use of paper bags over plastic bags. A “PAPER BAG MAKING ACTIVITY” held in our school .Students of classes NURSERY to 5 made paper bags as a part of their responsibility towards mother nature and used them to buy groceries and their shopping needs. The importance of using paper bags and how plastic is a threat to our environment was explained to the students.

ADVENTURE PARK

Aesthetic development, creativity and physical growth plays a vital role in the overall development of a student.

Students took part in various challenging and exciting activities such as Burma Bridge, Valley crossing, Commando net , Tyre tunnel , Trampoline and Wall climbing.🧗‍♀️

These activities helped to strengthen teamwork and personal accomplishment. Students energetically completed the activities and no task was left undone..

WORKSHOP ON CYBER CRIME AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT(AUGUST)

Workshop on Cyber Crime and Traffic Management.🚦School students participated in workshop enthusiastically.

The queries raised by the students were answered satisfactorily by Naresh Kumar Public Relation Officer . The students were advised to follow traffic

rules for their own safety as well as other road users.

BIS WORKSHOP

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Standard Club has organized an industrial visit at “Krishna Gas Ltd.”⛽️

The objective of organizing such an event was to create awareness about the importance of Bureau of Indian Standards club activities like standard formation, standard certification & licensing procedure to the students .

SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTION

School elections are very much essential for the students. Because this kind of activity will mould leadership qualities and bring awareness about the election among the students right from a young age.

MTMPS has organized the school election for the PRIMARY CLASSES. The election process included nominations by the candidates. Then we enabled the children to cast their votes and elect their leaders. Also, various portfolios were assigned to the elected leaders.

It builds confidence among the children and makes them more efficient in decision making abilities.

Rakhi Making Activity

The Rakhi thread is considered as sacred because it reminds of the promise a brother makes to her sister that he will protect her until death. On the occasion, sisters pray for the good health and well-being of their brothers and in lieu get gifts from their brothers.

The school celebrated Rakhi festival with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Rakhi making activity was conducted by Class V & VI students, and sisters showcased their love for their brothers. This thread, which represents love and sublime sentiments, is called the ‘Raksha Bandhan’ means ‘a bond of protection’.

The School head praised and appreciated the students for their efforts and guided them to treasure the valuable bond between brothers and sisters.

FANCY DRESS FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Primary kids of MTMPS,marched in the school dressed up as soldier, leader, Mother India etc. for the FANCY DRESS SHOW

part of the  Independence Day celebration....

Children sung patriotic song and also danced to the tune of patriotism....

Children enthusiastically   gave their voice to the slogan VANDE MATARAM🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami is the time when darkness ends and drives away all evil forces. In the same spirit, students of the MTMPS depicted Lord Krishna's victory over evil. Students conveyed, "Every moment of existence is well worth a Celebration." Children wore ethnic outfits portraying the deities; Radha and Krishna. The presentation depicted numerous snapshots of how the world came into existence. It changed into a stunning presentation with a joyous melody and twirling dancers.🎊

ECO FRIENDLY CLAY MODELLING OF LORD GANESHA

An activity conducted on 31st August 2022, facilitators engaged the students enthusiastically in clay modelling. These young minds portrayed their creative skills through their aesthetic art work.

BIS COMPETITION

Mother Teresa Mother Public School has set a benchmark for conducting activities, workshops on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) in such a way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With the same perspective in view, the Standards Writing Competition was held in MTMPS the by honorable Junior Scientist Dr. Harsh Shankar on 30th August, 2022 at the School Conference Hall. The members of BIS Club participated in this competition.The participants surprised all with their writing skill.

In the keenly fought competition, It was Nupur of class X and Jaspreet Kaur of XII science that lifted the trophy for the best performance Rashmeet of class X and Jiya of class XII came close to the second position and the third position was held by David of class XII science and Vaishnavi of class X. While there was a consolation prize for the Jaspreet and Chhavi of class X. The competition was adjudged by well known Junior Scientist of BIS Dr. Harsh Shankar. The judges opined that the standard of the competition was so good that it was difficult to choose the winners. The Chief Guest Dr. Deepak Kumar and Dr. Harsh Shankar lauded the initiative taken by the school in conducting such a fabulous competition. He give away the prizes to the winners and motivated them to participate in many more competitions like this. He stated that the participation matters more than winning. The program ended with a zestful thought by honorable Principal of MTMPS Ms.Pooja Saxena.

SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY

Subject Enrichment Activities are a part of enhancing the learning experience of the students. At MTMPS,we aim for making learning a new experience for our students.  Therefore Subject Enrichment Activities were organized for various subjects in our school.  It increased their learning capabilities and well as created a new platform for our students to showcase their talents and promote  various means of learning.

Lighting up the festive spirit, the blooming buddies of MTMPS celebrated Dussehra on October 4, 2022 in school with great enthusiasm.

Students came dressed up in traditional attire which added colour and flavour to the festive celebrations.To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, a video was shown to the children on why we celebrate

Dussehra.

GURURPURAB CELEBRATION

GURUPURAB CELEBRATION AT MTMPS

A sense of peace and tranquility filled the air as the students of MTMPS School celebrated Gurpurab in the school premises. The students sang religious hymns and shabads from the holy Guru Granth Sahib. Sakhis related to Guru Nanak Dev’s Life were narrated. The children were apprised about the significance of Gurpurab.

The spiritual ambience created by the devotional songs and chants was appreciated by the Principal, Mrs Pooja Saxena who congratulated the children and the teachers for their efforts. She reiterated

the need for religious tolerance, brotherhood and togetherness as preached by Guru Nanak Devji.

FIELD TRIP

A field trip to a zoo is a great way for students to observed animals and feel connection with wildlife.

With an objective of sensitizing  students about the animal's Kingdom and various existent species, students from Sr. KG got the opportunity to visit “Pipli Zoo” in the company of their friends and teachers.

Teachers explained to the students about the different kinds of animals as they were passing by the animal's cages🐾. The students were excited to see the animals and birds.

This was a wonderful experience for students and teachers too.

MTMPS celebrates National Education Day with an educational field trip

Our Grade VI students enjoyed a planned field trip to the Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre. The Science Centre houses galleries on different themes like Science & Technology, an activity area,Tara Mandal and a 3D theatre.🔭👩‍🔬🧫🔬

The magic of a field trip isn’t just exploring a subject, it’s the whole experience. The break in routine and the spirit of adventure opens the minds of children to new things which they can cherish for a very long time.🪄

TEACHERS TRAINING

We believe that teachers are lifelong learners. We emphasize teachers' training and it's been a practice of ours to learn together to ensure quality education and develop 21st-century skills in students.

Mr. Devesh Dewangan a certified trainer was the resource person for the session. This workshop commences with the introduction of setting essential agreements in class, code of conduct, knowledge domain of teachers, and open and closed-ended questions.

Our goal is to ensure the holistic development of our students and the teachers need to collaborate, research, learn and reflect!

CHILDRENS DAY

Children's Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India,

Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

His unparalled love for children and his dedication towards them has made this day a memorable one for children all over the Nation.

A pious hawan yajna was performed in the premises of the Mother Teresa Modern Public School  on the auspicious & delightful commencement of the New Year. FIELD TRIP

A field trip to a zoo is a great way for students to observed animals and feel connection with wildlife.

With an objective of sensitizing  students about the animal's Kingdom and various existent species, students from Sr. KG got the opportunity to visit “Pipli Zoo” in the company of their friends and teachers.

Teachers explained to the students about the different kinds of animals as they were passing by the animal's cages🐾. The students were excited to see the animals and birds.

This was a wonderful experience for students and teachers too.

MTMPS celebrates National Education Day with an educational field trip

Our Grade VI students enjoyed a planned field trip to the Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre. The Science Centre houses galleries on different themes like Science & Technology, an activity area,Tara Mandal and a 3D theatre.🔭👩‍🔬🧫🔬

The magic of a field trip isn’t just exploring a subject, it’s the whole experience. The break in routine and the spirit of adventure opens the minds of children to new things which they can cherish for a very long time.🪄

 

TEACHERS TRAINING

We believe that teachers are lifelong learners. We emphasize teachers' training and it's been a practice of ours to learn together to ensure quality education and develop 21st-century skills in students.

Mr. Devesh Dewangan a certified trainer was the resource person for the session. This workshop commences with the introduction of setting essential agreements in class, code of conduct, knowledge domain of teachers, and open and closed-ended questions.

Our goal is to ensure the holistic development of our students and the teachers need to collaborate, research, learn and reflect!

Children's Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India,

Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

To bring out the creative expression of the students and also to gauge their awareness quotient, the Poster Making Competition was for grades 6-7 at MTMPS.

Students demonstrated their artistic abilities by creating a variety of posters on the subject. The competition had a 2-hour time limit.

Our incredible children deserve a round of congratulations for their enthusiastic creativity.

PARENT ORIENTATION

Parent Orientation Program was held on 09-July-2022. The Principal in her welcome address talked about the importance of discipline, values and how  there should be an ongoing partnership  between parents and school to bring about holistic development of the students. This was followed by the introduction of ERP.

The orientation program ended with an interactive session with the parents.

PAPER BAG MAKING

World Paper Bag Day is celebrated across the globe to reaffirm the much-needed daily use of paper bags over plastic bags. A “PAPER BAG MAKING ACTIVITY” held in our school .Students of classes NURSERY to 5 made paper bags as a part of their responsibility towards mother nature and used them to buy groceries and their shopping needs. The importance of using paper bags and how plastic is a threat to our environment was explained to the students.

ADVENTURE PARK

Aesthetic development, creativity and physical growth plays a vital role in the overall development of a student.

Students took part in various challenging and exciting activities such as Burma Bridge, Valley crossing, Commando net , Tyre tunnel , Trampoline and Wall climbing.🧗‍♀️

These activities helped to strengthen teamwork and personal accomplishment. Students energetically completed the activities and no task was left undone..

WORKSHOP ON CYBER CRIME AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT(AUGUST)

Workshop on Cyber Crime and Traffic Management.🚦School students participated in workshop enthusiastically.

The queries raised by the students were answered satisfactorily by Naresh Kumar Public Relation Officer . The students were advised to follow traffic

rules for their own safety as well as other road users.

BAISAKHI

Festivals bring joy and happiness!

Students of MTMPS celebrated Baisakhi with
fervour and enthusiasm. The school premises wore afestive look and was decorated with cut-outs of crops,farmers, fulkaris and balloons. Dressed in typical folk
attire, students danced to the tunes of bhangra and learnt about the cultural heritage of Punjab.

RED DAY

'Red Day' celebration is a wonderful learning activity which helped children to understand the concept of Primary Colours. Red colour also signifies Love and Compassion. To mark this day very special, students and the teachers were dressed in red clothes. Classes were decorated with red props.

The RED DAY in MTMPS🏫 was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours  by reinforcing cognitive skills.

 

BIS WORKSHOP

BIS workshop was organised in Mother Teresa Modern Public . Mathana Chownki.. The work shop was organised by Dr.Deepak kumar ,Dr. Harsh Shankar and Standard Promotion Officer Anushka Srivastava .The organizers first told the students the difference between BIS and ISI.They also told the standard of day today used things such as Switch , Pressure Cooker and certain other things also. Purity of certain other metals such as Gold is judged by Hallmarks- also explained by them. Our school Principal Mrs.Pooja Saxena also told the students before buying anything from market first check ISI or BIS mark,only then purchase. A competition was also conducted by organizers of the workshop in which Nupur got First Position, Jaspreet Second  and Shruti ,Jiya and Lavisha got third position.

STORY TELLING

“Every story has a meaning, and that meaning depends upon how the story is taught.”

To broaden the ideas and the perspective of our tiny-tots, a story telling activity was organised for the students of Pre-Primary section at MTMPS.The story-telling session was thoroughly enjoyed by the students as they were looking upon their teachers being-The Lion and The Mouse🦁🐭.Not just this, the students were actively involved in narrating the story with their teachers. Their lit up faces and mesmerized looks spoke volumes about the interest it had generated in the students. Here’s a sneak peek of the vibe of the story-telling session.

BIS WORKSHOP

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Standard Club has organized an industrial visit at “Krishna Gas Ltd.”⛽️

The objective of organizing such an event was to create awareness about the importance of Bureau of Indian Standards club activities like standard formation, standard certification & licensing procedure to the students .

SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTION

School elections are very much essential for the students. Because this kind of activity will mould leadership qualities and bring awareness about the election among the students right from a young age.

MTMPS has organized the school election for the PRIMARY CLASSES. The election process included nominations by the candidates. Then we enabled the children to cast their votes and elect their leaders. Also, various portfolios were assigned to the elected leaders.

It builds confidence among the children and makes them more efficient in decision making abilities.

Rakhi Making Activity

The Rakhi thread is considered as sacred because it reminds of the promise a brother makes to her sister that he will protect her until death. On the occasion, sisters pray for the good health and well-being of their brothers and in lieu get gifts from their brothers.

The school celebrated Rakhi festival with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Rakhi making activity was conducted by Class V & VI students, and sisters showcased their love for their brothers. This thread, which represents love and sublime sentiments, is called the ‘Raksha Bandhan’ means ‘a bond of protection’.

The School head praised and appreciated the students for their efforts and guided them to treasure the valuable bond between brothers and sisters.

 

FANCY DRESS FOR INDEPENCE DAY CELEBRATION

JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami is the time when darkness ends and drives away all evil forces. In the same spirit, students of the MTMPS depicted Lord Krishna's victory over evil. Students conveyed, "Every moment of existence is well worth a Celebration." Children wore ethnic outfits portraying the deities; Radha and Krishna. The presentation depicted numerous snapshots of how the world came into existence. It changed into a stunning presentation with a joyous melody and twirling dancers.🎊

ECO FRIENDLY CLAY MODELLING OF LORD GANESHA

An activity conducted on 31st August 2022, facilitators engaged the students enthusiastically in clay modelling. These young minds portrayed their creative skills through their aesthetic art work.

BIS COMPETITION

Mother Teresa Mother Public School has set a benchmark for conducting activities, workshops on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) in such a way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With the same perspective in view, the Standards Writing Competition was held in MTMPS the by honorable Junior Scientist Dr. Harsh Shankar on 30th August, 2022 at the School Conference Hall. The members of BIS Club participated in this competition.The participants surprised all with their writing skill.

In the keenly fought competition, It was Nupur of class X and Jaspreet Kaur of XII science that lifted the trophy for the best performance Rashmeet of class X and Jiya of class XII came close to the second position and the third position was held by David of class XII science and Vaishnavi of class X. While there was a consolation prize for the Jaspreet and Chhavi of class X. The competition was adjudged by well known Junior Scientist of BIS Dr. Harsh Shankar. The judges opined that the standard of the competition was so good that it was difficult to choose the winners. The Chief Guest Dr. Deepak Kumar and Dr. Harsh Shankar lauded the initiative taken by the school in conducting such a fabulous competition. He give away the prizes to the winners and motivated them to participate in many more competitions like this. He stated that the participation matters more than winning. The program ended with a zestful thought by honorable Principal of MTMPS Ms.Pooja Saxena.

 

SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY

Subject Enrichment Activities are a part of enhancing the learning experience of the students. At MTMPS,we aim for making learning a new experience for our students.  Therefore Subject Enrichment Activities were organized for various subjects in our school.  It increased their learning capabilities and well as created a new platform for our students to showcase their talents and promote  various means of learning.

Lighting up the festive spirit, the blooming buddies of MTMPS celebrated Dussehra on October 4, 2022 in school with great enthusiasm.

Students came dressed up in traditional attire which added colour and flavour to the festive celebrations.To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, a video was shown to the children on why we celebrate

Dussehra.

GURUPURAB CELEBRATION AT MTMPS

A sense of peace and tranquility filled the air as the students of MTMPS School celebrated Gurpurab in the school premises. The students sang religious hymns and shabads from the holy Guru Granth Sahib. Sakhis related to Guru Nanak Dev’s Life were narrated. The children were apprised about the significance of Gurpurab.

The spiritual ambience created by the devotional songs and chants was appreciated by the Principal, Mrs Pooja Saxena who congratulated the children and the teachers for their efforts. She reiterated
